Self-serve tool that turns airside system exports into block-time compliance, runway-occupancy and aircraft parking-time report bundles.

Overview

Operations staff upload AMCOMS exports and download ZIP archives of CSVs. I was the sole author. A July 2025 public study on runway occupancy at Chennai is company airside work — I do not claim that result.

Problem

Analysts processed airside movement exports by hand for block time, runway occupancy and parking duration.

Role

Sole author. Shipped as an internal tool.

Highlights

Block Time report: cleans movement exports, applies manual chocks overrides, splits arrivals and departures, and turns validation codes into readable remarks.
Runway Occupancy Time report: occupancy durations in seconds, split by arrival and departure.
Parking Time report: pairs each arrival with its departure by registration, with a 25-minute minimum on the ground, overlap and intervening-arrival checks, one-to-one departure use, and a reason for every non-match.
